Die futuristisch anmutende APS-Kamera Kodak Advantix Preview mit dem aufklappbaren Blitz verfügt über einen Zoom von 25 – 65 mm, über diverse Blitzfunktionen und ein 35 Millimeter breites farbiges LCD-Display. Das Besondere an der Kamera ist etwas, was der Käufer eher bei einer digitalen Kamera vermuten würde: Über das große und übersichtliche LCD-Display an der Rückseite lässt sich jede Aufnahme sofort überprüfen.

Das ist insbesondere dann sinnvoll, wenn besonders wichtige und einmalige Aufnahmen wie auf Hochzeiten, auf einer Reise, beim Sport oder bei einem geschäftlichen Termin angefertigt werden. Der Fotograf sieht mit dieser Hilfe sofort, ob die Perspektive und/oder die Belichtung stimmen, oder ob die abgebildeten Personen ansprechend dargestellt sind. Realisiert wird dies über ein einfaches Prinzip. Der Strahlengang des Suchers wird durch einen teildurchlässigen Spiegel in zwei Richtungen aufgesplittet und gelangt so über ein optisches Element auf einen CCD-Bildsensor. Beim Auslösen werden die digitalen Bilddaten in einem Zwischenspeicher abgelegt und dort für die Anzeige auf dem LCD-Monitor aufbereitet. Er bleibt im Speicher und kann bis zur nächsten Aufnahme überprüft werden.

Doch das ist längst nicht alles, was die Kodak Advantix Preview zu bieten hat. Durch die DPOF-Funktion können die aufgenommenen Bilder in beliebiger Anzahl bestellt oder aber wieder verworfen werden. Wem die technischen Finessen immer noch nicht genügen, dem sei das Datendisplay ans Herz gelegt, mit dem Bildnummer, Funktionseinstellungen und Batteriestatus angezeigt werden. Selbstverständlich ist auch ein Filmwechsel per Mid-Roll-Change jederzeit möglich. Eine Kamera für alle APS-Fans, die das Ausgefallene lieben. –Corinna S. Heyn

I bought the Saeco Incanto espresso coffee maker machine about 2 years ago and I had so many problems during this time. I had to return the machine 2 times at my own expense. Now for several months, the machine has been mal-functioning (when I press the brew button, about 3/4 cup of water comes from the steam wand and very little coffee is made. I called the service people about 4 months ago, and they asked me to return the machine again for service, but I lost my patience in doing that. They sent me a steam valve saying that it is easy to replace but I could not figure out how to replace it. Now it is just out of warranty, and I cannot even return the machine to them without incurring a huge repair cost. Well, I guess I will keep it for a little longer and trash it. I wish I bought it from costco so that I could have returned it during the first month after I got it, but I bought it from some other vendor on line and I just have to eat it. I will never buy another Saeco machine again in my life.
